Mission areas

Responsible UAS support starts with the mission, not the aircraft.

Guardian UAS may provide aerial and operational support upon request across six public-safety, emergency-response, education, and preparedness mission areas.

Mission before capability

Aerial support shaped by the mission.

Guardian UAS is built to bring responsible unmanned-aircraft support, education, coordination, and preparedness to public-safety and community organizations.

Each engagement begins with a clear objective, an authorized point of contact, shared expectations, and careful coordination around the operating environment.

Responsible aerial perspective when conditions are changing.

Emergency Response

Aerial situational awareness and operational support during emergencies and rapidly changing incidents.

Additional capability for organizations with a public mission.

Public Safety Support

UAS services, coordination, and technical assistance for law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency management, and other public-serving organizations.

Additional aerial perspective for coordinated searches.

Search and Rescue

Aerial support for coordinated searches involving missing, endangered, or vulnerable individuals.

Understanding broad conditions can help organizations plan next steps.

Disaster Response and Assessment

Aerial observation, damage assessment, documentation, and recovery support following disasters and severe events.

Safer adoption begins with shared understanding.

Training and Education

UAS education, operational training, and responsible-use guidance for public safety personnel, partner organizations, and communities.

Preparation connects technology to realistic operating needs.

Community Preparedness

Planning, exercises, public education, and interagency coordination to strengthen emergency readiness and community resilience.

Coordination philosophy

Clear authority. Shared expectations. Responsible support.

Guardian’s coordination philosophy is designed to complement established incident command, public-safety authority, and organizational procedures. A requesting organization identifies an authorized point of contact so responsibilities, constraints, and mission expectations can be coordinated before support begins.

Review the request process

How support works

A clear path from request to coordinated support.

The process is designed to establish context, assess whether a request is appropriate, and set realistic expectations before action is taken.

Start a request
  1. Request

An authorized representative shares the organization, general mission area, location, and appropriate point of contact.

  2. Assess

Guardian considers the stated need, timing, safety, operating environment, airspace, available resources, applicable requirements, and operational feasibility.

  3. Coordinate

If the request is appropriate to advance, Guardian and the requesting organization clarify responsibilities, timelines, constraints, and mission expectations.

  4. Support

When appropriate, available, and authorized, Guardian personnel and resources support the mutually agreed mission or initiative.
